Swedish Massage – The most common form of massage practiced in North America, mainly relaxes the clients muscles, eases aches and pains, and decreases stress.

Advanced/Deep Tissue/Sports Massage – Follows the same basic flow and general outline as Swedish Massage. It’s various strokes, joint mobilization, therapeutic rocking, and advanced techniques allow for a much stronger massage focusing on the deeper, underlying muscles of the body.

CranioSacral – Through light touch and energy work it supports and nourishes the nervous system and encourages the body’s self-regulatingwave motions.

Therapeutic Massage/Manual Therapy - A common therapy to relieve adhesions and scar tissue from common injuries.

Shiatsu – This Japanese form of bodywork means “finger pressure”. Shiatsu combines the techniques of acupressure and tissue work to improve the natural energy flow known as qi (pronounced “chee”). Shiatsu is deeply relaxing and energizing.

Thai Massage – Known as “Nuad Bo Rarn” in Thailand, it originated over 3,000 years ago and is slowly gaining popularity in the U.S. This form of bodywork combines aspects of Yoga, Deep Stretching, Reflexology, and Acupressure. It is traditionally done on the floor with a thick padded mat.

Pre/Post Natal– Pre/post natal massage, also known as pregnancy massage is a wonderful choice for expecting mothers. This therapeutic massage follows the same flow as Swedish massage but is done with the patient lying on their side. Please consult and receive approval with your obstetrician or midwife before beginning this program.
